Infrastructure and systems
Small organisations often inherit poorly documented, inconsistently configured infrastructure. The work here is typically: audit, remediate, document, and hand back in a state the organisation can maintain independently.
Domain and DNS
Registration, DNS configuration, DNSSEC signing, and ongoing health monitoring across multi-domain estates.
Email security
SPF, DKIM, and DMARC implementation, SMTP TLS reporting, and automated alert systems for policy enforcement.
Web presence
Static site design and deployment via modern hosting platforms. No unnecessary complexity; easy for non-technical teams to update.
Systems integration
Connecting the tools an organisation already uses — automating routine tasks and removing manual bottlenecks.
Process and governance
Drawing on senior experience in public-sector governance, policy, and regulation. Applied to smaller organisations that benefit from independent perspective without the overhead of a large consultancy.
Process review
Mapping how things actually work versus how they are documented, and identifying where the gaps cause friction or risk.
Governance advisory
Trustee and committee support: terms of reference, decision records, and practical governance frameworks for small charities and voluntary organisations.
Operational efficiency
Reducing the administrative overhead on organisations where volunteer time is the scarcest resource.
Policy and compliance
Data protection, GDPR/ODPA compliance, and straightforward policy drafting that people will actually read and follow.
